Animal Life and Adoption Center • A Drop of Water for Nature
We have a responsibility not only to the people of Tatlısu but also to its nature and all its living creatures.
We will develop lasting and humane solutions to protect our street animal friends, prevent uncontrolled breeding, and make sure animals in the wild can reach water, especially during the hot summer months.
We will not be a municipality that rounds animals up and removes them; we will be one that protects, sustains life, and creates solutions.
Animal Life and Adoption Center
Not a shelter, but a center for holding on to life.
We will bring Tatlısu a clean, well-run, and sustainable Animal Life and Adoption Center suited to its needs.
Our goal is not to lock animals away;
it is to protect them, get them treatment, neuter them, and, wherever possible, unite them with a warm home.
At the center, with appropriate facilities;
- temporary care and protection,
- access to veterinary services,
- vaccination and neutering,
- registration and tracking,
- adoption,
- a volunteer support system
are what we will establish.
Don't Buy — Give a Life a Home
We will encourage adoption.
By sharing photos and short stories of the animal friends at the center online, we will unite them with their new families.
The most beautiful way to empty a cage is to open a home.
Neuter • Vaccinate • Keep Alive
We will not try to solve the street animal problem simply by rounding animals up.
In cooperation with veterinarians and the relevant institutions, we will establish a planned system of neutering, vaccination, registration, and tracking.
Because the lasting solution;
is not rounding up today, but planning for tomorrow.
A Drop of Water for Nature
A bowl of water means a life.
In Tatlısu's hot summer months, not only street animals but many creatures living in the wild can struggle to find water.
Without harming natural habitats, and guided by expert advice, we will place controlled water stations at suitable locations.
We will ensure the water points are regularly checked and cleaned.
We will monitor the system even more closely during dry and hot periods.
Putting out water is not enough; it must be kept flowing.
Volunteer Tatlısu
We will turn compassion into solidarity.
We will make our animal lovers, our volunteers, and our young people part of the system.
- Pet food and supply drives,
- adoption days,
- awareness events,
- animal welfare programs in schools
are what we will organize.
We care that our children grow up with a love of animals.
Because a child who shows compassion for nature and animals also learns to value people.
It Will Not Burden the Municipal Budget Alone
We will not base this project on the municipal budget alone.
We will develop partnerships with veterinarians, animal lovers, volunteers, businesses, civil society organizations, and suitable support programs.
The municipality will build the system, volunteers will lend their strength, and Tatlısu will care for it together.
We Will Live Together
We will protect our animal friends on the street.
We will prevent uncontrolled breeding.
We will increase adoption.
We will bring water to the creatures of the wild.
We will teach our children compassion.
Because a developed town is measured not only by its roads and buildings, but by how it treats its most vulnerable living beings.
Protect
Take Ownership
Give Water
Keep Alive
In Tatlısu, every life is precious.
A Drop of Water for Nature
A drop of water, a breath of life.
