We lived together, we grew together; we will build the future together too.
At the heart of every project we have described for Tatlısu lies one single thing:
People
Our children, our young people, our women, our producers, our shopkeepers, our workers, our athletes, our elders…
And, wherever they may live, our people whose hearts beat with Tatlısu.
That is why our final project is not a building.
Our final project is unity, solidarity, and looking out for one another.
We will lead the way in founding the Tatlısu Culture and Solidarity Association.
Not under the municipality's control; we will support the creation of an independent and strong civil society organisation, owned by the people of Tatlısu and growing through volunteering.
The municipality will open the way; Tatlısu will take ownership.
Wherever We May Live, We Will Meet in Tatlısu
We will strengthen the bond between those living in Tatlısu and the people of Tatlısu living in other regions and countries.
Through hometown gatherings, arts and culture events, excursions, youth activities, women's meet-ups, sports events, talks, training programmes and social responsibility projects, we will bring the Tatlısu family back together under one roof.
We will keep our culture alive.
We will pass our past on to our young people.
We will bring the experience of our elders together with the future.
We will never forget our roots, and we will walk into the future together.
Tatlısu Education and Solidarity Fund
No child's dream should be left half-finished for lack of means.
Within the association, and within the framework of the relevant legislation and principles of transparency, we will support the creation of a Tatlısu Education and Solidarity Fund.
We will build a solidarity model that supports the education of our successful students with limited means.
Educational materials...
Books...
Transport...
Education and development programmes...
The support our high-achieving children and young people may need...
All of this, as resources allow, can be brought within the scope of the solidarity fund.
Because;
An investment in a young person is an investment in Tatlısu's future.
Tatlısu Support Fund for Those in Need
In hard times, no one will feel alone.
Life can sometimes bring unexpected hardships.
For our families in need, our elders living alone and our people going through difficult times, we will again support the creation of a solidarity mechanism that is transparent, fair and based on clearly defined criteria.
Our approach will never be to make our people dependent on aid.
It will be to hold their hand in hard times and help them back onto their feet.
We will expose no one.
We will wound no one's dignity.
We will build a culture of solidarity where the left hand does not see what the right hand gives.
A Bridge of Trust Between the Giving Hand and Those in Need
Our fellow townspeople living in and beyond Tatlısu, our business people and volunteers who wish to contribute will all be able to take part in this solidarity.
But there will be an account of where every contribution goes.
There will be transparency.
There will be criteria.
There will be oversight.
There will be fairness.
Because solidarity's most important capital is trust.
Our Young People and Our Women Will Be at the Heart of the Association
Our young people will not merely attend events; they will generate ideas, develop social responsibility projects and take on roles in volunteer work.
Our women will be one of the association's driving forces — from cultural activities to production, from solidarity to social projects.
And our children will learn Tatlısu's culture by living it.
Our culture will be passed from generation to generation.
Our solidarity will grow from person to person.
Tatlısu Is One Big Family
Our dream for Tatlısu is not merely a town with fine roads, new facilities and a strong economy.
- A place where people know one another,
- listen to one another,
- take pride in each other's successes,
- run to each other's side in hard times,
- look after every child,
- and never forget their elders
— that is the Tatlısu we want.
Because at the end of all municipal work, we arrive once again at people.
