Artificial Waterfall • Glass Viewing Terrace • Picnic and Rest Area
One of Tatlısu's greatest riches is its unique geography, where the sea meets the mountains. We will turn this beauty into a living space our people can use and visitors will want to see — without covering it in concrete, without spoiling nature's character, and without placing a heavy financial burden on the municipality.
We will not consume nature.
We will live with nature.
We will create value from nature.
We Will Bring the Artificial Waterfall Back to Life
We will not abandon what lies idle; we will bring it back to life.
We will not leave the existing waterfall area to its fate. We will examine its technical condition, carry out the necessary maintenance, repairs, and landscaping, and aim to bring it back into service with suitable solutions such as a closed-circuit water system that keeps water consumption to a minimum.
Around the waterfall;
we will integrate natural landscaping, walking areas, rest spots, and photography points.
Our goal is not an expensive showpiece;
it is a peaceful, living natural space worthy of Tatlısu.
Glass Viewing Terrace
See Tatlısu from up here, too.
Following suitability and feasibility studies, we will aim to build a Glass Viewing Terrace and Observation Point in harmony with nature, at the spot where the view is at its most striking.
The sea...
The Beşparmak Mountains...
The sunrise...
The sunset...
Tatlısu's unique geography will be visible from a single point.
This will not be just a viewing terrace.
It will become one of Tatlısu's new photography spots.
By creating a distinctive place people want to see, photograph, and share on social media, we will also increase Tatlısu's digital visibility.
Picnic and Family Living Area
A Tatlısu where we can breathe together as families.
We will create a well-kept picnic and rest area in nature where our families can spend time safely.
As appropriate;
- shaded seating areas,
- picnic tables,
- natural play areas for children,
- walking paths,
- rest spots,
- accessible toilets,
- fountains and basic amenities,
along with waste collection and recycling units, will be planned.
Our families will picnic, and our children will grow up with nature.
Landscaping in Harmony with Nature, Protecting Water
In this project, we will not waste water while creating green space.
We will choose local and native plants suited to Tatlısu's climate that need as little water as possible.
The most efficient water system possible will be used for the artificial waterfall.
We will grow the green without depleting our water.
The Sunset Will Become an Experience in Tatlısu
We will make the view from the glass terrace and observation area — especially at sunrise and sunset — part of Tatlısu's promotion.
Through photo and video shoots, nature walks, and social media content, we will aim to make this area one of Tatlısu's landmark spots.
Take your photo, share Tatlısu.
Nature Tourism Will Reach Local Businesses
We do not want visitors simply to come to the viewing terrace and leave.
With digital and physical signposting, we will guide visitors;
- to the town centre,
- to the Culture and Memory Museum,
- to the Museum of Scents,
- to the local products center,
- to our restaurants and local businesses
That is where we will direct them.
The view will bring visitors.
Visitors will come down to the town centre.
Our local businesses and producers will earn.
Feasibility First, Then Investment
For investments like the glass viewing terrace in particular, we will first assess geological, engineering, environmental, and economic suitability.
Rather than doing everything with the municipal budget, we will explore project grants, institutional partnerships, sponsorships, and suitable operating models.
We will dream, but we will also do the math.
One Space, Many Values
Our waterfall will live again.
Our glass terrace will make our view visible.
Our families will meet nature.
Our children will gather beautiful memories.
Tatlısu will gain a new destination.
Our local businesses will share in the economic activity.
