Litter Bin Network • Courteous Signage • Environment Department Cooperation • Construction Waste Enforcement
We owe it both to those who entrusted us this beauty and to those who will inherit it: Tatlısu will stay clean.
Tatlısu's greatest wealth is its nature — and that wealth's greatest enemy is the litter left on roadsides, beaches and picnic areas. Waste thrown from cars, bags left after picnics and illegally dumped construction debris damage both our nature and our town's image.
Clean Tatlısu brings a comprehensive answer: a litter bin network placed at the right spots, courteous awareness signage that never humiliates, and standing cooperation with the Environment Department.
Litter Bin and Collection Network
Roadside stops, lay-bys, viewpoints, picnic areas and beaches will be mapped one by one; each point will receive lidded, animal-proof bins of suitable capacity.
- Bins at beach entrances and scenic lay-bys along the coastline
- Recycling-separated units at picnic areas
- A regular emptying schedule — no overflowing bins
- 'Full bin / illegal dumping' reports via the mobile app
Courteous Awareness Signage
Our aim is a sense of ownership, not fear of punishment. Our signs will not accuse; they will remind. Polite, aesthetically designed signs — 'This shore belongs to us all', 'Please leave Tatlısu clean, thank you' — will be prepared in keeping with our town's identity.
Cooperation with the Environment Department
A joint protocol will be established with the Environment Department: enforcement against illegal construction-waste dumping, designated rubble acceptance areas and deterrent sanctions for violations. Our municipal teams will monitor problem areas with regular field patrols.
A Clean Tatlısu by the Community's Hand
With environmental education in our schools, seasonal beach clean-up days with our volunteers and a 'Clean Tatlısu' volunteer network, this will be the people's project. Because cleanliness is as much a town culture as it is a municipal service.
A municipality that protects its nature — clean roads, clean shores, clean Tatlısu.
